Thank you Shelly and Carla for the nice welcome.

Buggies Quilt Barn is my daughters new online business. Years ago I made a t-shirt quilt for her hubby for Christmas from his t-shirts saved from high school. He is now a coach and Stephanie wanted this quilt made for him. I turned out wonderful and I continued to make t-shirt quilts for family and friends.

Then the next year, Stephanie wanted me to make a photo quilt for her hubby's parents for Christmas. They had lost a son to cancer and just wanted the photo quilt so he would always be there with them. Her in-laws and everyone else loved the photo quilt and still treasure it today.

I made a free website and orders started coming in within 2 weeks. Beings that Stephanie wanted to be a WAHM she jumped in the quilting business. Buggies Quilt Barn is a new site. So far it is not doing well at all, but hope it will soon get some traffic and orders.

Buggies Quilt Barn is the first ecommerce site with WAHM hosting that I have used. I am wondering if that is the reason that getting traffic is so difficult. It seems that hosing with Yahoo and having a personal site we got noticed and tons of orders. I am not sure that the ecommerce site is what she needs with most of her items being custom orders.

Now that Stephanie has learned to piece quilts and use the embroidery machines I need to get her into more stuff on the computer ... like blogging, twitter and forums. I hope she enjoys the computer part as much as I do.

Some quilt for a living, I live to quilt!

Hi! Welcome.  I always wished I could be crafty.  I just don't have that part of the brain.  The technology is my thing!  I'm sure your site will take off soon.  It always takes a bit to get going.
I look forward to talking to you more.
