BIO:
I'm Amanda, a former elementary school teacher turned mom. When I became a mom it
was one of the most horrible experiences of my life. Yes, I loved my daughter but I
didn't have any friends who were moms, no relatives nearby, no money because I quit
my job and nothing to do. I hated the "insanity of Motherhood."
I eventually met a wonderful friend who was exactly alike me and I started to learn
to love being a mom and in fact "embrace" it.
I now have three kiddos and I'm your typical playgroup, PTA, soccer, minivan
driving, suburb mom but I'm dealing much better with it all.
I created Nanny Deprived because I know there are times when you can either laugh or
cry as a mom, and I now choose to laugh...most of the time. That's how I came up
with my site motto - "Embrace the Insanity of Motherhood."
My perspective on my business is that I need to learn how to do everything myself.
I've taught myself html, SEO, a little photography along with many other things I
never thought I could do. The internet is a wonderful resource.
