All of my babies were extremely alert.  They never slept in their carseats, always want to be held or interacting with something and get bored extremely easy.  My friends make fun of me because I have every baby toy made but my daughter (4months) really needs the stimulation or else she's crying constantly.
Did anyone else have any expeirence like this?  My husband and I look at babies in restaurants sleeping and just can't imagine it.  You would think we create this personality but my husband and I are both very laid back people.  We don't rush to our babies when they cry.  It's driving me crazy now.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Amanda

OMG Amanda,

I have that with Kennedy but only at home. If I sit and work at the  computer she freaks out. It's like she knows that the attention is not on her.

The only difference, she LOVESSSS going outside of the house. If I put her in her car seat while she is crying and face blood shot red, she shuts up instantly.

But boy oh boy, if we are in the house and someone is not entertaining her. You can forget it!!!

Here's a little hope for you. She has done a 360. She is more relaxed now, she sleeps longer than 10 mins. during the day and I am elated. She is sleeping now as we speak and took a three hour nap this morning. I almost did the happy dance!!!!

My sister says she was going through withdrawl from all of the Pepsi I was drinking while being pregnant with her.

That's funny.  At least I'm not alone.  I have to be completely entertaining Cora or else she is screaming.  Even if I'm holding her but watching TV she cries.  It's very frustrating.  She is better when we are out and about too.  Maybe I need to leave more but with three kids it's hard.

Tell me about it. I have three too and it is very difficult over here!

Let me know if you master the balancing act.
