Featured on the Mommy Carpet this week is WAHM Pat English from Juniper Trail Embroidery

Owner: Pat English
Bio.: Former R.N. turned embroiderer.

I purchased my first embroidery machine in late 2003. I started out doing work for family, co-workers, and friends. Soon I branched out to 2 gift shops and a resort in upper Michigan. At the same time, I
started selling some generic items on eBay. Then I got the idea of a niche market for grandparent shirts. Over the past 6 years, I have accumulated a large design collection for my shirts. I sold exclusively in my eBay store until early 2008.

That's when I opened my own on line store. Early on after opening, I met Carla of My SEO Gal. She optimized my site, uploaded everything to Google, gave me a ton of advice, and generally has been an inspiration and coach to me. By the fall of 2008,
my private store was really busy and I closed the eBay store.
I branched out into purses, totes, and diaper bags. These are fun for me to buy and
personalize.

Pat,
Your shirts are so cute! I love your reiki bags too.  My mom has studied reiki forever.

Thank you!! My friend that embroiders those bags is a Master Reiki person (or whatever I should call her). It's an interesting area I think.

I am a fan of Pat's shirts. Got two made by her so far and my parents have gotten so many compliments from them.

I think I made my other sister's jealous because the shirts I got made for my parents only have my kids names on them. Not all 11 grandkids. So I am going to order one with all 11 names.

I hope you can do that Pat?

BTW,

I will be adding you to the site today.

I am so behind, it's just not funny!!!!

Shelly, glad to know that I'm not the only one who "defected" although I did love nursing but had to give it up a few yrs ago.
Go ahead and order Carla, I can handle that many names. You wouldn't believe some of the shirts that I've done with names in the front and back. I think it was something around 24 Wink
Keep up the great job you are doing here and with your sites.
