Hi all!
My name is Jackie and I own a funky little home business called Label
Creations!
11 years ago I was working at a big company as an event coordinator, and
absolutely loved it - but knew that when I started my family I wanted to
still work - just not outside the home!
I had always loved making personalized items, and family and friends were
always telling me I have to go into business!
So I did - and BOY did I make some mistakes! For one, when I first started
my site, I had no clue about copyrights! So there I was....selling great
labels with Disney, NFL, and scads of other copyrighted images! Corporate
Lawyers with no sense of humor whatsoever soon put a stop to that, and
thankfully let me off the hook with a stern warning - needless to say I now
work with some amazing artists.....lesson learned!
Aside from running my business, I am a mommy to two wonderful little boys,
and am married to the love of my life. My dream of raising a family while
contributing to the family income has come true.
I try to stay very connected to other WAHM's and am involved in many local
and not so local networking venues, we all learn from each other and that is
worth its weight in gold! Their insight, Ideas and Resources make up a huge
part of my success!
